“ We visited on a Friday night with a last-minute booking. We arrived early and grabbed a drink at the bar before being seated. There's also a pool area, which adds a nice, friendly touch to the venue. I found out they used to have a Michelin star but lost it in 2022--makes me wonder why. The restaurant is located on the second floor, though I had expected it to be inside the clocktower itself! We were welcomed with some bread and butter to start. For our meal, we ordered the tuna tartare, fish and chips, beef Wellington for 2, and panna cotta for dessert. The beef Wellington was definitely the highlight--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. However, we felt the plating of the tuna tartare could have been better. The panna cotta was a great way to end the meal, with the raspberry sorbet adding a refreshing tartness to balance the sweetness. The service was on the slower side, but I got the sense they wanted us to relax and take our time, so it worked out fine for a leisurely evening. ”

“ Ambiance is impeccable. The cool design, color palette, photographs, pool table are all aspirational on so many levels. When we came it was quiet since it was towards the end of brunch. But it was just right - we had a great conversation and shared good food. Scottish egg..recommend! Fish and chips..proper and good! We wanted a mid day bite and that's what we got. The sauce for the fish and chips was unexpected..it was a sort of Indian fusion. The servers were prompt, nothing good or bad to say other than we got our food in a good time frame. I loved dining here. I'd definitely come back to try more dishes. And I'd imagine dinner here is stellar too. ”

“ Wow! We had such a terrific experience here! If you make it there before your reservation, there is a bar when you walk in, one upstairs too and a pool table upstairs. The staircase is so pretty. The dining area too is so beautiful and takes you back in time. Their service was impeccable! They were on point and so friendly. We loved our waiter! Now, let's talk about their food! Everything we ordered was delicious! The portions were decently sized and I really like how they spaced out each course. We weren't rushed and we were able to enjoy each selection without feeling stuffed. I really like how they showed us the beef Wellington before it was cooked and I also enjoyed watching their Baked Alaska presentation. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish! We also had time to play a game of pool! ”

“ This is a hidden gem! It's located on the second floor of the Edition Hotel. When standing in the park, look for the building with the clock and you'll spot it right away. lol. Three of us went for brunch and we all enjoyed our meals... crab cakes and avocado toast, and bloody Marys. Service was friendly and well paced. Afterwards we moved to the bar and enjoyed some cocktails. The greenpoint and marayuca were awesome. I could've had 10 of them but I didn't. The space is bit dark but fun and there's a room with a pool table. I recommend popping in for food or drinks or both. ”

“ It has been a while since I've been to a restaurant that truly blew me away. Let me start with the service. I made reservations through Resy and noted I was celebrating an anniversary. The host immediately said congratulations. He was smiling the entire time and made us feel welcomed. We were seated right away without any wait. Our server greeted us and provided us complimentary champagne for our anniversary. We were given a wine menu and asked if we wanted to speak with the sommelier. We ordered the beef wellington and poached halibut. The beef was cooked perfectly medium (the way we ordered it) and the bone marrow gravy was delicious. The halibut was tender and the lemon butter sauce had the perfect amount of seasoning. We finished the meal with their sticky toffee cake. Overall it was an expensive dinner but for a special occasion it was perfect. If you can request Ivan as your server. He was very attentive and added to the dining experience. ”
